The Transformations of sentences according to structures are as follows

প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দ, আজ আমাদের আলোচনার বিষয় হলো Structural sentences তথা গঠনমূলক বাক্যসমূহের পরিচিতি, প্রকার-প্রকরণ এবং পরিবর্তন বা রূপান্তর প্রণালী। আজ আমরা Simple sentence into compound sentence সম্পর্কে সময়োপযুগী বিধি অনুসারে পরিবর্তন প্রণালীসমূহ আলোচনা করব।
Simple into compound
Rule: 01
সাধারণত simple sentence-এর শুরুতে By + main verb এর base form + ing = and বসে simple sentence-এর মাঝখানের Comma এর পরিবর্তে conjunction হিসেবে compound sentence তৈরি করতে এবং by ও ing উভয়ই উঠে যায়।
Examples :
By drinking cold water, you will feel fresh (compound).
Drink cold water and you will feel fresh.
or,Drink cold water and feel fresh.
By working hard, you will be able to progress in your life.
Work hard and you will be able to progress in your life.
or,Work hard and will be able to progress in your life.
Rule: 02
Simple sentence এর শুরম্নতে Main verb-এর Base form + ing তথা Present participle = and বসে Simple sentence-এর মাঝখানের Comma এর পরিবর্তে Conjunction হিসেবে Compound sentence তৈরি করতে এবং main verb-এর Base form-এর সাথে যুক্ত ing উঠে যায়।
Examples :
Running fast, you will be able to get on the train (compound).
Run fast and you will be able to get on the train.
or,Run fast and will be able to get on the train. (উঠা/ চড়া)
Rule: 03
Simple sentence এর মাঝখানের too......to = very বসে too এর পরিবর্তে এবং and বসে to এর পরিবর্তে আবার and এর ডানদিকে tense অনুসারে can’t/ couldn’t বসে compound sentence তৈরি করতে।
Examples :
The woman is too old to walk at all. (compound)
The woman is very old and can’t walk at all.
The student was too lazy to complete the home work in time.
The student was very lazy and couldn’t complete the homework in time.
Rule: 04
Simple sentence এর শুরুতে Because of = and/ and so বসে simple sentence এর মাঝখানের Comma (,) এর পরিবর্তে এবং Being = am, is, are, was, were বসে “to be” verb হিসেবে tense অনুসারে আবার having = have, has, had বসে “to have” verb হিসেবে tense অনুসারে compound sentence তৈরি করতে এবং Because of উঠে যায়।
Examples :
Because of her being ill, she is unable to talk to us.
She is ill and/ and so she is unable to talk to us.
Because of his being late, he couldn’t attend the party in time (compound).
He was late and/ and so couldn’t attend the party in time.
Rule: 05
যদি compound sentence এর দুই পার্শ্বের subject দু’টি পৃথক হয়, তাহলে simple sentence এর মাঝখানের comma এর পরিবর্তে and বসে conjunction হিসেবে এবং tense অনুসারে Being = am, is, are, was, were বসে to be verb হিসেবে আবার tense অনুসারে এবং having = have, has, had বসে to have verb হিসেবে compound sentence তৈরি করতে।
Examples :The sun having risen, we have started our jouey to our destination (compound).
The sun has risen and we have started our jouey to our destination.
The wedding ceremony being over, we came back home (compound).
The wedding ceremony was over and we came back home.
